1. Refer to P.5 of the presentation. Find out the file in /var/log which stores the PID of syslogd.
2. Modify /etc/xinetd.conf and restart xinetd to enable the FTP service.
3. Modify your own /etc/syslog.conf so that all FTP information will be logged. Try to mis-type your password and see what happens.
4. Two students form a team. Modify your own /etc/syslog.conf so that FTP and mail information will be logged to the host of your partner.
